Quality Control Technician
The Quality Control Technician is responsible for the programing of Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM), developing quality control plans, and inspection record sheets. The individual is responsible for the inspection of precision machined parts by using a variety of precision inspection equipment. The employee will be required to use this equipment effectively to verify conformance to blueprint and process specification requirements. The role is to define effective and efficient actions allowing to detect and contain quality issues, as well as to correct and prevent them.

• Perform inspections across various stages of production.
• Inspect parts and audit products according to quality and process standards. Inspection can be performed through visual, layout, dimensional, or non-destructive tests.
• Ensure the compliance or report non-conforming parts/procedures.
• Provides support to production, identifies problems in manufacturing & assembly process, communicate within the team to provide solutions.
• Train operators in the best quality practices.
• In-house verification of inspection equipment.
• Contribute to improving quality through quality improvement plans.
• Assist in the investigation and disposition of non-conforming material.
• Assist in gathering data, compiling information, and assisting management in the development of metrics and reports.
• Maintain inspection reports, first article/final inspections, and QMS documentation.

Job Requirements:
- High School degree or equivalent required.
- Able to program CMM (Preferred experience with Zeiss Calypso)
- Inspection of precision machined parts including reading blueprints, material, and part specifications, and interpreting geometric dimensions and tolerances (GD&T).
- Experience with Metrology software (Calypso, Polyworks)
- Must have prior knowledge of blueprint reading and interpreting GD&T.
- Proven knowledge of micrometers, calipers, digital height gages, go/no-go gages, thread pitch gages, etc.
- Basic understanding of a quality systems (QMS), documentation, and implementation to ISO/AS9100 Standards.
- Ability to work closely with operators, machinists, and production supervisors to convey pertinent quality related information.
- Previous machining experience is a plus
CNC Machinist

- Select, aligns and secures holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and material on machines such as mills, lathes, grinders, and shapers
- Sets up and operates machine on trial run to verify accuracy of machine settings or programmed control data
- Start and observe machine operation to detect malfunction or out-of-tolerance conditions
- Fits and assembles parts into complete assembly
- Inspect work using standard precision gauges (micrometers, calipers, indicators, etc.)
- Adjust settings and certify dimensional conformance or assembly alignment
- Change “standard” cutting tools and reset machine(s) to proper size
COMPENTENCIES:
- Prefer at least 5 years of experience working in a machining environment with large envelope CNC machines and bridge mills
- Proficient with Mastercam
- Strong with GD&T
- Experience with AS9100 is a plus

CNC Machinist ApprenticE
MRG Tool and Die is looking for a CNC Machinist Apprentice who enjoys working in a clean, climate-controlled environment. QUALITY ASSURANCE COORDINATOR
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Quality Engineer to join our team. The Quality Engineer will be responsible for ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards and comply with all relevant regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality control, project management, and quality systems.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Develop and implement quality control procedures and processes
- Oversees the effectiveness of QA systems, calibration, test and inspection of equipment and leads proactive quality initiatives.
- Conduct quality inspections and audits to identify areas for improvement
- Analyze data and trends to identify root causes of quality problems
- Participates and oversees internal audit, customer requirements and inspection planning
- Develop and maintain documentation of quality standards and procedures
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline required (Mechanical/Electrical or Quality Engineering)
- 5-7 years of Quality Engineering experience in a manufacturing environment
- 3-5 years of experience in the implementation and maintenance of AS9100
- 3-5 years of experience in contractual and specification requirement interpretation
- Minimum of three years of experience in the implementation and maintenance of manufacturing processes (SOPs)
- Knowledge of Aerospace industry a plus
- Knowledge of ITAR a plus
- Strong analytical and problem solving abilities
